December 2024 Christmas Lunch

Our Chairman John Goodhead and his wife Barbara were pleased to welcome everyone with a glass of prosecco in the bar before we moved into the Harry Colt Room for an excellent traditional Christmas Turkey lunch.

An important part of the lunch is the hand-over to the incoming Chairman and John Goodhead was very pleased to present Norman Rodda with the Chairman's collar for the next twelve months. Well done John and best of luck to Norman!

After our meal Bill Scott welcomed back Bob Sinfield to entertain us with his talk 'No Laughing Matter'

Luckily there were quite a lot of laughs as Bob recounted tales from his long career as a comedy writer for Radio and Television. Thanks Bob for reminding us of some great comedians of the last fifty years.
